Lebanese driver Mansour Chebli won both Open 1 and Production 1 category events in the second round of the Qatar National Sprint on Saturday at the Lusail Circuit Sports Club Karting Track. Chebli, driving his Renault Clio, registered the second fastest lap of the day when he registered a time of 1:12.671s in Open Class 1 before clocking a time of 1:15.066s in the Production 1 event. His compatriot Jad Alawar, driving a Mitsubishi Evo 8 became the fastest of the day when he stopped the clock at 1:11.354s in Open Class 2 event. Paige de Jagger won Open Class 3 and the Women’s Class in Mitsubishi Eclipse. Qatar’s Maher Serre won the P2 class in his Porsche Cayman GTS,
clocking a time of 1:16.873 in his only attempt. Qatar’s Abdulla Ali al-Abbasi, driving a Lotus Exige, won the Production 3 class in 1:17.732s.
