The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change's (MoECC) Department of Natural Protectorates has spotted and removed an unauthorised portable cabin from a state owned property and took the necessary legal procedures against the violator according to law no 10 for 1987 with regard to Public and Private State Property. The MoECC maintains various patrols across all the land and marine areas in the country to monitor such violations and take immediate action against the illegal fixed and portable cabins, especially that block the public beaches. There are certain designated areas for these cabins at the public beaches and other areas, it has been pointed out.
