HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammad met on Wednesday with HE Chairperson of the Executive Council of Islamic Organisation for Food Security (IOFS) Dr. Masoud Jarallah Al Marri, and HE Director General of IOSF Dr. Yerlan Baidaulet.
During the meeting, they reviewed relations of cooperation between Qatar and the Islamic Organisation for Food Security.
It is noteworthy that IOFS has announced, during the fifth meeting of its General Assembly held in Oct 11 in Tunis, that Qatar had won the presidency of the Executive Council of the organisation for the period of three years, which is the culmination of the country's outstanding efforts in the field of supporting and strengthening the food security in Islamic countries.
