At least five people died in a fire that broke out inside a hospital in India's eastern state of Jharkhand on Saturday.
The local police reported in a statement that around nine people were rescued and admitted to a nearby hospital. Five of them are in serious condition.
Most of the deaths were caused by asphyxiation, said the local police.
The cause of the fire is being ascertained, added the statement.
