The Four Worlds exhibition by Ecuadorian Artist Franz Del Castillo will conclude on January 30 in Gallery 2 of Building 47 in Katara - Cultural Village.
The exhibition features 20 paintings that represent the geographical and picturesque nature of Ecuador, including its flora and fauna. Ecuador's ambassador to Qatar Pascual del Cioppo, Katara's deputy general manager for operations affairs and Human Resources director Saif Saad al-Dossari and other dignitaries were present at the opening.
The paintings depict the jaguar, blue-headed parrot, pink dolphin, the hoatzin bird and other unique creators from the Ecuadorian Amazon. The opening ceremony featured folkloric performances and dances in addition to a fashion show with designs inspired by the artist's paintings.
