The Qatari-Armenian Parliamentary Friendship Group held a meeting in Doha on Thursday. The meeting dealt with ways to enhance parliamentary relations between the two countries and the importance of raising the level of co-ordination in regional and international parliamentary forums. The meeting was chaired by Head of the Qatari-Armenian Parliamentary Friendship Group, Member of the Shura Council HE Eng Ahmed bin Hitmi al-Hitmi, and his counterpart Member of Armenian National Assembly Vahagn Aleksanyan, who discussed the importance of exchanging experiences and visits between the two councils in a way that contributes to the development of joint cooperation. The meeting was attended by a number of officials from both sides. (QNA)
