The Wildlife Development Department at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change carried out Monday its first campaign to plant a number of wild trees at Rawdat Al Hashem for 2023, with the participation of 120 students from Compass International School along with a number of officials and specialists from the ministry.
The students planted a number of local wild trees and cleaned the place thoroughly from all the industrial waste found there. The students planted various kinds of trees and also took part in a clean-up drive in the area. The students expressed happiness at learning about the Qatari environment and its wild plants, stressing that such visits will have a positive impact on them in terms of learning more about Qatar and its plants and animals that must be preserved.
