His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani participated Wednesday, along with his brothers Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, in the fraternal consultative meeting that was held at the invitation of President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, under the title "Prosperity and Stability in the Region", at the St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.
His Highness the Amir also attended the luncheon banquet hosted by the UAE president in honour of the leaders of a number of GCC countries, the king of Jordan and the president of Egypt.
The meeting and luncheon banquet were attended by HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, and a number of sheikhs and ministers, as well as members of official delegations.
His Highness the Amir arrived Wednesday morning in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, to take part in the fraternal consultative meeting.
The Amir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at the Presidential Flight by his brother UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al- Nahyan.
The Amir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed also by Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed al-Nahyan, National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed al-Nahyan and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
His Highness the Amir left Wednesday Abu Dhabi, after taking part in the fraternal consultative meeting.
The Amir and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure from the Presidential Flight by National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
