The Central Municipal Council (CMC) held its regular meeting Tuesday, headed by chairman Mohamed bin Hammoud al-Shafi, and discussed a number of key issues of interest.
The CMC discussed the report of its services and utilities committee regarding the recommendations about the reduction of space on street pavements. They also discussed a report on naming a number of streets and roads across the country. Further, the CMC discussed the recommendation regarding allowing buildings at movable ranches, and also about the specification of guarantee periods for recruited domestic helpers.
