Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys (QSTSS) has started receiving registration applications from students currently enrolled in the eighth grade who will join the ninth grade in the academic year 2022-2023.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education explained that students can be registered and transferred from government and private schools to QSTSS until Feb. 9.
The registration requirements include that the student should be a Qatari citizen, with no less than 80 percent in the last academic report, with 80 percent or above in mathematics, science, and English, and should pass the admission test in English, mathematics, mental ability, and other admission requirements.
QSTSS is a governmental, specialized scientific school that adopts an integrated educational approach based on the teaching of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in an integrated manner. This trend is universally known as STEM Education.
