The Robotics Lab at Podar Pearl School in Qatar was inaugurated by Dr Pavan Podar, chairman, Podar Education Network in India, on Sunday, in the presence of school directors, management officials and senior faculty members.
The lab is well equipped with latest electronic gadgets, required for designing and implementing robotic systems, a statement said Monday.
Robotics is an essential part of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). In the Robotics Lab, students will be able to explore robotics from a variety of angles, from programming and design to fabrication and engineering. Dr Mohamed Althaf, one of the directors, said: “Forward looking schools around the world are embracing technology in new and exciting ways, and now this new Robotics Lab in our school should give students opportunities to explore and experiment the world of Robotics and Automation.
