Palestinian Islamic Waqf Department said that settlers broke into courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday, while dozens of Palestinians were detained from various areas in West Bank.
Dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa from Mughrabi Gate and performed Talmudic rituals on its compounds, said Islamic Waqf Department.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces launched wide detention campaigns on Monday against 10 Palestinians from various regions in West bank.
Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) stated that Israeli occupation forces detained 4 Palestinians from Ramallah, and 2 others from Husan village, west of Bethlehem, after their homes were raided and inspected.
In Hebron, Israeli occupation forces arrested 2 Palestinians and inspected a number of homes, while military checkpoints were set up at the entrances to the towns of Sa'ir and Halhul, and at the northern entrances to the city of Hebron, Joura in Halas, and the southern entrances to Al-Fahs.
The occupation forces stopped the citizens' vehicles and inspected them, in addition to vetting their IDs, causing obstruction to their passage.
