Qatar Stock Exchange index rose at the beginning of Sunday's trading by 13.39 points, or 0.12%, to reach the level of 11003 points, compared to the closing of last Thursday's trading.
Data issued by Qatar Stock Exchange indicated that the index increased, supported by most sectors. The bank and financial services sector increased by 3.27%, the telecommunications sector by 1.27%, the industries sector by 0.84%, the transport sector by 0.64% and the insurance sector by 0.30%. On the other hand, the real estate sector decreased by 0.05% and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.71%.
At 10 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth 64.161 million riyals, distributed to 20,942 shares with the implementation of 2,256 transactions.
