Doha and other parts of the country experienced cloudy and rainy conditions Saturday, with thundery conditions reported at times from some places. Sunday's forecast by the Qatar Met department says it will be misty in some places at first, along with clouds and rain at times, while it will be cold by night. The report also says thundershowers are expected in offshore areas at first Sunday along with high seas and strong winds. The wind speed may go up to 25 knots during thundery rain, with the sea level rising to 8ft. In a related tweet, the Met department said the chances of rain were expected all through Saturday night and dawn on Sunday, and the conditions might turn thundery in the southern areas.
