Weather inshore tonight until 6 pm on Saturday will be misty to foggy at places at first and partly cloudy to cloudy with rain, cold by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of poor horizontal visibility at places in the south by early morning.
Offshore, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered rain, maybe thundery at times, and expected thundery rain associated with strong wind and high sea.
Wind inshore will be mainly Southeasterly 06 - 16 KT gusting to 21 KT at places at times.
Offshore, it will be Easterly - Southeasterly 08 - 18 KT gusting 23 KT.
Visibility will be 04 to 08/02 kilometres or less at places.
Sea state inshore will be 1 - 3 feet rises to 4 feet. Offshore, it will be 2 - 5 feet rising to 7 feet at times.
