DPS -Modern Indian School hosted the eighth edition of TEDxYouth@DPSMIS recently on the theme 'Tangential Thoughts' - the seemingly meaningless thoughts that serve as the key to solving the world’s problems.
The session featured a panel of five interdisciplinary speakers and was attended by over 80 participants from across Qatar.
Dania Khaled, a communication consultant, presented her views on ‘Designing your Reality’, Reem Abouselo, a social media specialist, shared her ideas and experiences on ‘What’s after Graduation’, Ahmed al-Shahrani, a para-athlete, highlighted the importance of ‘The Words that Shape Us’, Louise Mabulo, an environmentalist, enthused the young minds through ‘Chocolate Revolution’ and Fatima al-Mahdi, manager of Student Enrichment through her talk ‘A Journey to Learning Passion’, emphasised on the value of purpose and passion to reap success. TEDxYouth@ DPSMIS is described as the longest running youth event in Qatar.
