Cold weather will continue Friday in Qatar with a minimum temperature of 14C expected in Doha, according to the Met department. The weather forecast also says there is a marine warning for thundery rain, strong winds and high seas today. The wind speed may go up to 25 knots offshore during thundershowers, with the sea level rising to 9ft. The forecast for inshore areas says it will be hazy at first, and partly cloudy conditions are expected along with a chance of light rain, while it will be cold by night. Minimum temperatures of 12C and 13C are expected in Al Khor and Abu Samra, respectively, while the mercury level will range from 14-19C in Doha. Cold weather and cloudy conditions were experienced yesterday also, with Doha recording a minimum of 14C. Pictured is Doha on a wintry Thursday.
