A Palestinian was seriously injured at dawn Wednesday after the Israeli occupation forces broke into Balata Camp, east of Nablus.
Medical sources said that the young man, aged 20, was hit by a live bullet in the head during the occupation's incursion into the camp.
A special undercover occupation unit (Musta'ribeen) infiltrated the camp and surrounded a house, leading to confrontations during which the soldiers fired stun grenades, gas bombs and live bullets at the Palestinians.
Military reinforcements were also sent to Bir Yaqoub area, east of Balata Camp, where they raided and searched several houses.
The Israeli occupation forces continue their violations against the Palestinian people on a daily basis, launching raid and arrest campaigns, and attacking the citizens, their lands and properties.
