Rain is again expected in the country along with a "noticeable drop" in temperatures in the coming days, according to the Qatar Met department.
In a report Monday, the department said a "rainy state" of varying intensity is expected to affect the country until Wednesday, and the conditions may turn thundery Tuesday.
Southerly winds Tuesday will change to northwesterly on Wednesday, with fresh to strong, sudden winds likely at times.
The wind activity will be followed by a "noticeable drop" in temperatures, with the maximum ranging from 17-21C and the minimum from 11-16C, dropping below that in the southern parts of the country and external areas, the forecast states.
The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (Met department) has appealed to the public to obtain information from official sources and not to be led by rumours and unofficial social media accounts.
Qatar had last week experienced a wet spell, with moderate to heavy rain at times along with thundery conditions.
Tuesday's detailed forecast says thundershowers and strong winds are expected in most areas of the country as well as offshore, which will also see high seas.
The wind speed may go up to 30 knots offshore and 25 knots inshore, with the sea level rising to 10ft.
Cold conditions are also expected at night, with the temperature ranging from 17-21C in Doha Tuesday.
