A Shura Council delegation participated in the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) meetings, held Sunday in Antalya, Turkiye, in preparation for the 13th Plenary Session which will be held over two days under the title 'Promoting Multilateralism in the Changing Global Dynamics.'
The meetings reviewed technical and administrative reports as well as draft decisions and resolutions including: towards an Asian parliament, the rule of law and judicial empowerment, good parliamentary practices, building prosperity in Asia through friendship and co-operation, harmonious development through democracy, Asian parliaments' unwavering support for the Palestinian people, and enhancing co-operation among members of APA to protect and promote multilateralism.
The Asian Parliamentary Assembly is the second largest parliamentary group in the world after the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
