The Department of Meteorology on Wednesday said the cloudy weather conditions to continue in Qatar and there are chances of moderate to heavy rains in most areas from Thursday until Saturday. The rain can become thundery at times, due to the deepening of the low pressure over the Arabian Peninsula, Met Department said in a tweet.
Winds during the period will be mainly northwesterly. Strong, sudden winds can occur during thunder rain and visibility can be reduced in some areas.
The maximum temperatures during the period may range between 19-23 C° and the minimum between 15-17 C°. In the southern and outer regions, the temperatures can be lesser with an increased sense of coldness due to the activity of the northwest winds.
The Meteorological Department also has urged all to depend on official sources only for information on weather.
