Cloudy weather and light to moderate rain were reported from some places in Qatar Monday, according to updated by the Met department on social media. Rain was detected in some northern and western areas as well as offshore.
Tuesday's forecast says thundery rain is expected in offshore areas along with strong winds and high seas. The wind speed may go up to 25 knots offshore during thundershowers, with the sea level rising to 8ft. The detailed forecast says it will be cloudy in offshore areas and there is a chance of scattered rain, which may become thundery at times. Inshore, the forecast says partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected at times along with rain in some places, and it will be cold by night. The temperature is expected to range from 17-22C in Doha Tuesday. On Sunday, the Met department had said there are chances of rain in the country from Monday until the end of the week.
