Qatar Museums (QM) have announced that the current ticket pricing for all museums and galleries will remain the same until April 1, 2023.
Over the course of the historic FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar, QM had attracted football fans from around the world to experience its state-of-the-art museums, galleries, exhibitions, and heritage sites.
With many temporary exhibitions running until the Spring, QM will uphold the existing ticket pricing until April 1, 2023, providing members of the community and visitors to Qatar the chance to learn about the country’s rich history and culture and further opportunities to enjoy Qatar Museums’ current cultural offering.
This includes the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ), Museum of Islamic Art (MIA), and 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic & Sports Museum (QOSM), the Al Zubarah Archaeological Site, as well as M7 – Qatar’s newly opened creative hub which is currently showcasing the Forever Valentino exhibition.
QM has confirmed that entry to its museums, galleries and heritage sites will continue to be free of charge for citizens and residents of Qatar and the GCC.
For all other visitors, ticket pricing remains as follows: Entry to the NMoQ, 3-2-1 QOSM, and the MIA is QR100 for adults and free for children aged 16 and under.
Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, Labour of Love: Embroidering Palestinian History, Lusail Museum: Tales of A Connected World, and Experience Al Jazeera is QR50 and free for children aged 16 and under.
Al Zubarah World Heritage Site is QR35 and free for children aged 16 and under. Yayoi Kusama: My Soul Blooms Forever is QR10 and free for children aged 16 and under.
Entry to Forever Valentino at M7 is QR100 for adults. Entry to all sites, except the NMoQ and the MIA, will continue to be free for Hayya card holders until January 23, 2023.
All museums and galleries will continue to allow free entry to museum cafés, restaurants, and gift shops.
QM has now resumed regular opening hours, and unless otherwise indicated, all museums and galleries are open from: Saturday–Thursday: 9am–7pm, Fridays: 1.30–7pm.
With Corniche Street now fully reopened in both directions, the MIA and Al Riwaq gallery are now fully accessible by car, taxi or by one of QM free shuttle buses.
