Qatar Central Bank (QCB) on Thursday announced that next Sunday will be an official holiday for all Qatar's financial institutions, Qatar Financial Market Authority (QFMA) and Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) on the occasion of the year end closing.
QCB said in a circular on its website, that based on the Council of Ministers' decision No (6) for 2008, on determining the official holidays in the country, Sunday Jan. 1, 2023 is decided to be an official holiday for all financial institutions, adding that work will be carried out usually Monday morning on Jan. 2.
