The teams of the General Cleanliness Department at the Ministry of Municipality has intensified their efforts in cleaning and sweeping the streets and other public areas after clearing the rain water, across the country. Trees fallen due to the strong winds were removed. The teams managed to clean an area of around 1,324km from Monday noon until Tuesday evening. Further, 108 tonnes of debris (fallen branches) were removed in six batches. The work teams deployed clearing equipment with the participation of 385 workers.
