Qatar Charity (QC) has signed an agreement with AlJaber Group, as part of partnership and co-operation in the fields of humanitarian and community work. QC, under the agreement, has welcomed AlJaber Group into its Charity Partner (CP) programme.
AlJaber Group has therefore been awarded the CP trademark in the gold category within the framework of the social responsibility programs of QC. The agreement was signed by Abdulaziz Hussin AlSaadi, director of the Marketing and Digital Growth Department, on behalf of Yousef Fakhroo, CEO’s assistant for the Resources Development and Media sector at QC, and Mohammed Sultan Mohammed Jaber al-Jaber, chairman of AlJaber Group.
The agreement is part of the AlJaber Group’s keenness, based on its social responsibility towards the community, to participate in the programmes and activities organised by QC.
Fakhroo expressed his happiness with AlJaber group joining the CP programme and obtaining the CP trademark, which is the world’s first certificate in the field of humanitarian work support and granted to companies and commercial bodies within the framework of social responsibility.
Fakhroo also underlined QC's keenness to develop the system of community partnership and promote the principle of humanitarian work for the joint efforts in support of vulnerable communities. He urged all the companies within the country to join this programme to contribute to taking the community development to the next level.
Mohamed al-Jaber, expressed the group's pride in signing the CP agreement with QC for community service and humanitarian causes. He noted that this agreement comes as part of the group’s firm belief in its social responsibility towards the community.
CP, a special trademark, is awarded by QC to various companies and commercial bodies under strategic partnerships, according to different conditions, to support the projects implemented globally.
