Russia said Wednesday that the NATO was carrying out an uncontrolled distribution of digital weapons through Ukraine.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov believed that Ukraine poses threats in the information space and they are of a "universal nature."
He said that NATO "in fact, is carrying out an uncontrolled distribution of digital weapons through this country today."
"This is fraught with unpredictable consequences for all members of the international community: today Russia is in sight, and tomorrow any other state objectionable to Washington could be in our place," Syromolotov told RIA Novosti news agency.
Syromolotov previously noted a multiple increase in cyber attacks against Russian information resources and infrastructure facilities after the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine. According to him, most attacks are recorded from North America and the European Union.
