The Joint Committee for Rain Emergency has exerted intensive efforts to clear rainwater from streets, working 25 hours non-stop since Monday noon across all municipalities.
The Committee engaged 226 workers and employees in teams, using 147 pumps and other equipment. The Committee received 167 related requests and dealt with them immediately. Accordingly, after the accumulated water was cleared, normal general cleaning works were resumed.
