The President of the Argentine Football Association, Claudio Tapia, expressed confidence that coach Lionel Scaloni, would remain with the World Cup winners' coaching staff.
Scaloni, 44, has been in charge of Argentine national team since 2018, leading them to the title of the Copa America 2021, Argentina's first international title since 1993.
With Lionel Messi and his comrades, Scaloni won the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 after defeating France in the final match 4-2 in the penalty shootout following the end of the original and additional times in a draw 3-3 at Lusail Stadium on 18 December.
Argentina won the World Cup in 1978, 1986, and 2022.
