The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in co-operation with Q-Auto Company, has announced the recall of 2016-2017 Audi R8 & TT vehicles, as the gas generator housing may get damaged when the driver airbag is deployed, possibly injuring the driver or passenger.
The MoCI, in co-operation with Protech Powered Sports Co, the exclusive distributor of Indian bikes in Qatar, also announced the recall of 2016-2019 Indian Chieftain, Springfield, Chief Vintage, & Chief Classic bikes, due to a possible electrical defect in the vehicle control module (VCM) that may result in loss of front lighting.
The recall campaign comes within the framework of the MoCI’s continuous efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The MoCI said that it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that they carry out the necessary repairs.
