Ibn Al-Haytham Pharmacies, a Mohamed Bin Hamad Holding Group subsidiary, and Snoonu Company for Trade and Services, a specialised company in delivery services in Qatar, signed an agreement aimed at co-operation in the field of delivering medical supplies to customers in Doha.
The agreement comes in the interest of Ibn Al-Haytham Pharmacies to provide delivery service to their customers in Doha, as Ibn Al-Haytham Pharmacies provide medical supplies through their four branches spread in Doha, at Doha Clinic Hospital, Al-Wajba, Abu Hamour, as well as Al-Mamoura branch.
Dr Sameh Badran, director of the Medical Sector at the Mohamed bin Hamad Holding Group, confirmed that the transportation and delivery of medical supplies will be in adherence to the instructions of the Ministry of Public Health, and clarified that prescription medication cannot be delivered using this service.
He stressed that delivery prices will be within the minimum and at preferential prices, and this is due to the choice to deal with Snoonu, one of the best companies specialised in delivering products, taking into account the security and safety of products and speed of arrival.
Dr Badran added that this will be the first phase of facilitating the drug purchase service. The second phase, which is now being worked on, will include developing a website for the pharmacies, where the customer will be able to choose products and pay online, and get the products delivered.
Ibn Al-Haytham Pharmacies was established nearly 25 years ago. Snoonu Trading and Services Company, established in 2019, provides delivery services through the Internet, a statement added.
