Indian Embassy has tweeted that the visa on arrival for Indian nationals has been opened with effect from Saturday, December 24, quoting a circular from the Civil Aviation Authority of Qatar. Those who are planning to avail the facility should fulfill three conditions, the embassy explained. The tweet said: “Indian nationals can obtain a free visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 30 days or according to hotel reservation and under the following conditions: valid passport for at least six months and confirmed return ticket.” The tweet also said that those who avail the visa on arrival facility should have “Confirmed hotel reservation through Discover Qatar website only. Hotel reservations from other websites are not accepted.”
