Qatar Central Bank hikes interest rates 50 basis points

Qatar Central Bank said Wednesday that they raised the QCB Deposit Rate (QCBDR) by 50 basis points to 5.00 percent.
The bank also raised the QCB Lending Rate (QCBLR) by 50 basis points to 5.50 percent and the QCB Repurchase Rate (QCB Repo Rate) by 50 basis points to 5.25 percent. The Central bank added in a statement Wednesday that the increase will go into effect Thursday.
