Another Sahtak Awalan initiative, the ‘One Goal’ programme, has joined Msheireb Downtown Doha’s World Cup activation zone. The ‘One Goal’ zone features an impressive variety of experiences, including immersive VR games, information about healthy lifestyles, and a walkthrough presentation of ‘Khayr Qatarna,’ Sahtak Awalan’s groundbreaking sustainable agriculture project. The zone operates daily from 2pm-12am for the duration of the tournament.
Nesreen al-Rifai, chief external affairs and development officer at WCM-Q, said: “Empowering the community to embrace a healthy lifestyle is at the heart of everything we do. Sahtak Awalan was conceived as a catalyst for health and well-being and quickly grew to become a well-respected national initiative. Today, I am proud to say that we not only have a strong presence within the community but have had a real impact on people of all ages across the entire spectrum of society.”
Sahtak Awalan – Your Health First was launched in 2012 to inspire and empower all members of the community to achieve and maintain good health in sustainable ways through a wide variety of initiatives.
