FIFA president Gianni Infantino acted briefly as referee during a friendly match between football legends and workers in Qatar on Monday.
"Let's hope for a great evening of football, just as we have seen a great World Cup so far," the head of the football governing body said before kick-off at Doha's Al Thumama stadium.
Workers, fans and volunteers from Qatar were invited for the match. "Football unites the world," Infantino said.
Among the football legends, were Brazil's Cafu, England's John Terry and Netherlands' Claren Seedorf.
Infantino was on duty for just over 10 minutes, handing out two yellow cards.
