Many visitors here for the ongoing FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 have expressed appreciation for the cleanliness of the streets across Doha and the areas of public concentration, as well as the sophisticated urban development of the country.

Speaking to local Arabic daily Arrayah, they expressed admiration for many areas across Doha, including Katara – the Cultural Village Foundation, The Pearl Island, the metro stations, the tournament stadiums, and the surrounding areas.

They also highlighted their experience of the excellent organisation of the events held alongside the ongoing global tournament, including the high levels of safety and security.

Further, some of the visitors noted that while the country has adopted modern architecture and urban development, Qatar’s heritage and traditions were also incorporated.

Khalid al-Obaidly from Kuwait said that while he has taken part in three FIFA World Cups, he sees the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 as very special and more than excellent in all aspects.

He said that Qatar is an excellent destination for the family.

Monica from Argentina said that the various places she has visited across the country have been extra clean.

She also expressed admiration of the various museums and the many works of art installed in numerous locations.

Julia from Russia said that that the stadiums looked great and very clean despite the huge turnout of people.

She added that both she and her sister felt very safe and secure everywhere they went.

Adam from Algeria said that he has seen a high level of public cleanliness in Qatar.

In particular, he liked the popular and traditional markets, such as Souq Waqif.
