The Ministry of Municipality, represented by Al Rayyan Municipality, in co-ordination with the Moroccan community association in Qatar, organised an event to felicitate Moroccan fans.
This was held in the presence of Moroccan ambassador Mohamed Setri and Al Rayyan Municipality director Jaber Hassan al-Jaber, with the participation of a number of ministry and embassy officials, members of the Moroccan community and media representatives.
Al-Jaber welcomed and congratulated the Moroccan community members and representatives for the Moroccan football team's historic qualification for the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
He noted that this achievement is a matter of pride for all Arabs and a distinguished success for Qatar 2022.
Setri praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Municipality to create suitable conditions and complete the infrastructure that resulted in the successful organising of the World Cup.
