The Ministry of Municipality has launched an awareness campaign for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 with an aim to sensiting them about the ministry’s services. The campaign is implemented by the Public Relations Department in cooperation with the municipalities.
The first awareness tours began in the Doha Corniche area where an introductory leaflet was distributed in both Arabic and English to the World Cup fans in the event areas. The awareness team of the Public Relations Department, in cooperation with the Al Rayyan Municipality team, also participated in educating the visitors of Umm Al Seneem Park about the services of the ministry and its most important recreational facilities, and the importance of preserving them.
Meanwhile, Doha Municipality continued its awareness campaigns to introduce municipal laws and requirements and urge the public not to violate them in order to preserve the aesthetic and civilized image of the state. .
During the campaign, awareness leaflets were distributed in ten languages.
