Qatar Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre (KMCC) Eranad constituency committee recently felicitated Kerala legislative assembly member P K Basheer.
The legislator had come to attend the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 inaugural match along with the Argentina-Saudi Arabia and Brazil-Serbia matches. Basheer, who hailed the facilities and infrastructure to promote football, noted that the organisers' approach towards the fans is commendable. President Ajmal Areekode presided over the function.
General secretary Ahmed Niyas Moorkanad welcomed the gathering. District secretary Muhammed Layis Kuniyil and KMCC functionaries Abdul Manaf, Safeerussalam, Abdul Hameed, Faiz Elayodan, Nooruddeen, Ashraf KE, Firose Chaliyar and Abdur Rahman Salih Thangal, Kizhuparamp were present.
