The Ambassador's Walking Football event was held recently with great enthusiasm. Ambassadors Milton Alcides Magana (El Salvador), Arman Issagaliyev (Kazakhstan), Yakuba Abdullahi Ahmed (Nigeria), Shabaan Jashari (North Macedonia), Jose Benzaquen (Peru), Mohamed Bahrin (Brunei), Chyngys Eshimbekov (Kyrgyzstan), Dr Mustafa Boutoura (Algeria), Francois Guillaume II (Haiti) and Mohamed Al Lafi (Libya) participated along with the event host and Walking Football Federation president Farhan al-Sheikh al-Sayed. The event was in connection with the celebrations as part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Walking football, which involves no tackling, is growing in popularity among men and women above 30.
