Italian automobile manufacturer, Pininfarina Group, has made its presence felt at the Qatar Motor Show with the launch of limited edition concept car Zuettottanta.
The car is equipped with a 1,750 CC turbo engine.
Many of the company’s creations have over the decades found their way into national and international museum collections like the Museum of Modern Art, New York, according to Pininfarina’s corporate and product communication manager Francesco Fiordelisi.
The exceptional skills of Pininfarina designers to interpret the client’s dreams, together with the application of innovative technologies and craftsmanship of its technicians, have created cars worthy of legend, the most recent being the Ferrari P4/5, Ferrari Scaglietti “K”, the Hyperion and the New Stratos.
“We are automotive clients to prestigious brands like Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Ford, Volvo, Tata Motors and Chery among others,” said the company official.
Pininfarina also has stakes and experience in the rail industry, having designed the interiors and exteriors of Italy’s high-speed trains, rolling stock for Swiss, Danish and Norwegian Railways.
The company’s automated light rail cars are in use in France’s Lille, and they have developed and supplied trams for cities in Greece, Sweden, Italy and Turkey.
