Le Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris
Qatar National Hotels Company (QNH) has recently taken over the ownership of two iconic Raffles properties in Singapore and Paris.
Raffles Hotel Singapore is the flagship property of Raffles portfolio, being the first hotel to operate under the Raffles Hotels & Resorts.
Named after the founder of modern Singapore, the hotel carries more than a century of glorious history having been host to world renowned artists, celebrities and royalties who visited this multicultural melting pot.
Opened in 1887, the hotel was declared a National Monument on the occasion of its 100th anniversary. After three years of extensive restoration works, Raffles Hotel Singapore reopened in 1991 and today it stands as a jewel in the crown of Singapore’s hospitality industry, renowned and loved for its inimitable style and unsurpassed excellence of service and facilities.

The Jubilee Theatre Hall Playhouse, Raffles Hotel Museum and Raffles Hotel Shopping Arcade complement the hotel offering, strengthening its positioning as a legendary landmark.
Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris is the European flagship of Raffles Hotels & Resorts, being an icon in the City of Light since 1928. After two years of renovation, the hotel reopened in October 2010, entirely transformed by French designer Philippe Starck. Every detail in the hotel is perfectly tailored, from state-of-the-art technology to each room decoration and artwork on display. Combined with the distinctive Raffles services, Le Royal Monceau - Raffles Paris offers a unique alternative to the Parisian luxury hotel experience. The art collection, the art gallery, the contemporary art bookstore, the in-house movie theatre, the boutique and the unique services of  Art Concierge reinforce the hotel’s positioning at the centre of arts and creativity.
The dining experience at the restaurants of Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris has a strong artistic dimension where guests are invited to an emotional journey through palatal delights, while the Spa My Blend by Clarins is a temple of individualised luxury and well-being.
“Adding these iconic properties to our portfolio represents consistent steps of QNH’s strategic expansion at the international level,” says Hamad Abdulla al-Mulla, Chief Executive Officer of QNH. “Through years of rich history, Raffles Hotel Singapore and Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris have become legendary legacies that enhance the hospitality values by building a bridge between tradition and a glorious future,” he added.
