A delegation representing the Stanford Graduate School of Business (Stanford GSB) from the US recently visited RasGas headquarters on an educational visit aimed at gaining a greater knowledge and understanding of Qatar’s economy, history and culture as part of their curriculum to develop global management skills.
RasGas is always happy to host such visits and educational briefings as they spread knowledge and information to the greater society.
The Stanford GSB is a well-known and respected graduate school, with more than 26,000 living alumni. 
Some 34 students including four second year students namely: Fawaz al-Rajhi, Rayyan al-Rasheed, Betsy Bradford and Christian Jensen and a faculty adviser was led by Professor Mark Wolfson.
The students will also visit other established institutions in Qatar which will be followed by a similar visit to Saudi Arabia’s governmental offices and private organisations.
During the visit, RasGas Venture group manager Nafez Bseiso delivered a speech and presentation outlining the economic growth of the company and the LNG industry, followed by a more technical presentation by  Operations Technical Engineering manager Ahmad al-Mohannadi. 
Bseiso commented on the visit: “RasGas is proud of its business success on an international level and happy to be able to provide the students with an overview of the oil and gas industry. Education and knowledge are crucial to sustainability, key objectives of RasGas, and our success is also part owned by our Corporate Social Responsibility and involving communities is part of our philosophy and work ethics.”
