Salah Murad receiving a certification in the presence of bank’s team
Ahlibank has received the ISO 9001:2008 certification for its central operations. Established by the International Standards Organisation, the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system sets an internationally recognised standard for quality assurance processes to ensure that a company’s products and services are in line with the best in the world.
Recognised in more than 150 countries, the ISO 9001:2008 sets stringent standards for the bank’s quality management system, in order to ensure a systemic approach to meeting  customers’ expectations while satisfying applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Leading to this highly demanding and rigorous certification, Ahlibank worked on re-engineering and centralising all its banking operations at its head office, to ensure operational control, standardisation of policies, practices and procedure and a better use of pooled expertise.
Commenting on the accreditation, Ahlibank Chief Executive Officer Salah Murad said: “We are pleased to receive this ISO certification. This is yet another demonstration of our commitment to meeting internationally recognised quality management requirements at all levels of our organisation while focusing all efforts on creating an unrivalled ability to meet our valued customers’ expectations.”
