A cultural event in progress during the anniversary celebrations at Shantiniketan Indian School |
The event featured several performances by students. Chief guest was Indian embassy first secretary M R Qureshi.
Guest of Honour and Supreme Education Council official Sameera Alraesi also spoke.
School managing council president K C Abdul Latheef and secretary K V Abdul Latheef, members of school managing committee and their families were among others present at the function.
The school honoured meritorious students with gold medals. Among those received prizes were students who performed well in the CBSE class 10
examinations.
The cultural programme featured items such as fusion dance, English melodrama, Arabic dance, mime, Punjabi folk dance, musical orchestra, Oppana and a Malayalam skit.
Principal Mohammed Ismail proposed a vote of thanks.
