Malaysia has reached an agreement with Aleksander Borodai, leader of the separatist group in eastern Ukraine, to retrieve the bodies of the victims of MH17, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said on Tuesday.
They have also reached an agreement to hand over the two black boxes from the Boeing 777 to a Malaysian team, Razak told a news conference.
Independent international investigators have also been guaranteed safe access to the crash site to begin a full investigation, he said.


Handing over of the black boxes at 1900 GMT

Separatists in eastern Ukraine will hand over the black boxes from MH17 to Malaysian experts at 1900 GMT on Monday, Sergei Kavtaradze, an official of the rebels' self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, told Reuters. 

Train carrying victims sets off from Torez

A train carrying victims from the site where a Malaysian airliner crashed has set off from the rebel-held town of Torez in eastern Ukraine, a Reuters witness said on Monday.
Earlier, Ukraine's deputy prime minister said the train would travel to the eastern city of Kharkiv before the bodies would be taken to the Netherlands.
