Al Shaqab will conduct a number of curated tours during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 festivities.
The tours will be held from November 15 until December 15 at Al Shaqab, Education City, Doha, welcoming tourists as they explore Qatar’s cultural heritage surrounding the Arabian horse.
In a statement, Al Shaqab said that it is keen on collaborating with high-level institutions to organise these tours and “edutain” global visitors on Qatar’s history, culture and tradition, while preserving the equestrian legacy, as well as highlighting its achievements.
"The Arabian horse is unique, and we at Al Shaqab are focused on the breeding and development of champion horses, reflecting the quality of preservation of the prime breed as a centerpiece of Qatari heritage,” the statement said. “Al Shaqab is keen to pass its legacy through its equine education programme at all levels, and has successfully coached champion riders at all levels throughout its history."
Starting on November 15, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in specially curated tours conducted three times a day until December 15.

Several types of tours will be offered by Al Shaqab, including VIP tours, group tours and horseback tours.
Tours will introduce visitors to key areas at Al Shaqab, including Longines Arena, Equine Exercise Centre, Breeding and Show, and The Stables of the Founder of the State of Qatar, where visitors will learn more about our equine heritage.
