Qatar University (QU)'s College of Engineering (CENG) and Spectre Solutions signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) Sunday to provide research and advisory services, activate community partnership, and facilitate the transfer of knowledge and technology.
QU vice-president for academic affairs Dr Omar al-Ansari and Spectre Solutions chief information officer Sebastian Konkol were the signatories.
Ambassador of Poland to Qatar Janusz Janke, Rheinmetall Barzan Advanced Technologies QSTP-LLC Business Development director Miles Lalor, Edraq Healthcare Solutions consultant Anthony Newton, and other officials from both institutions were present.
CENG dean Dr Khalid Kamal Naji said that the MoU is part of a continuous endeavour to expand ways of collaboration between the two parties to serve local institutions, in line with national priorities towards a knowledge-based economy.
Konkol said that Spectre Solutions has found a crucial R&D (research and development) partner through the MoU.
"It is time to build remarkable technologies together,” he said.
