Hadi Medawar is the new director of sales and marketing at Crowne Plaza Doha West Bay, an IHG hotel.
He transfers from Staybridge Suites Doha Lusail, another IHG hotel.
Medawar brings with him 18 years of diverse and rich hospitality and academic experience, a statement said.
Originally from Lebanon, he holds a Master of Science Degree in International Events Management from Ecole De Management in France, Bachelor Degree of Arts in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Notre Dame University in Lebanon, and a Postgraduate Degree in International Events Management from the University of Brighton, UK.
Medawar, who is currently pursuing his PhD in Tourism from Lebanese University in Beirut, will spearhead in his new capacity Crowne Plaza Doha West Bay's initiatives to achieve growth, drive revenue and elevate its position in the local market.
Commenting on his new appointment, Hadi said: “I am very excited to continue my journey in IHG with Crowne Plaza Doha West Bay. The hotel is a stunning property with great potential.”
