The College of Pharmacy (CPH) at Qatar University (QU) recently hosted on campus and online orientations for General Pharmacy and first year students for academic year 2022.
The event featured sessions on introducing students to the College policies, an overview of the curriculum, introducing CPH administrative and faculty members and ended with fun interactive activities as well as a gardening ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, dean Prof Feras Alali stated that the CPH, the country’s only institution of its kind, is recognised for its exceptional and high calibre academics, advanced curricula, modern resources and cutting-edge equipment and facilities.
Assistant dean for student affairs Dr Muna al-Ismail said the CPH is committed to provide its students with the best learning experience and strives to inspire them as they embark on their future roles as pharmacists.
Professional Year 1 Pharmacy student Mouda Hamdan expressed her excitement in joining the College. Also from the same batch, Walid Kouidri said attending the orientation event gave an insight of the promising future.
